According to Modi Government Farmers can double they income, they can sell they agricultural products in any states according to best price, no middle man, bill will promote ‘One Nation One Market’.

Farmers are free to sale they agricultural products any place with best price without help of middle man. Crops like potato, onion, with food grains, oilseeds and pulses crops have been excluded from the list of Essential Commodities Act. Farmers can deal with other states licensed traders. It will help farmers to get good prices of agricultural products. Under this New Farmer Bill, any trader having a PAN number is qualified to trade. Farmers or merchant can engage in trade with the help of electronic trading platforms in other state. This New Farmers Bill will help the ‘One Nation One Market’ slogan and farmers can sell their agricultural produce across the Bharat.

This New Farmers Bill will give freedom to the farmers they can deal with corporate companies. Earlier, farmers are not allowed to deal with the corporate companies, they have to sell their crops in Mandi and other local markets. Plus point of New Farmers Bill they can sell the crops in other state also with the better prices.


New Farmers Bill farmers will benefit, agritech start-ups, agri warehouses, and private players. The New Farmers Bill give the benefit small farmers those will less than 1-hectare land who constitute 86% of Indian agriculture.


According to Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said New Farmers Bill give more choice when it comes to selling their agricultural produce will promote the inter-state trade.

The three farm bills government has passed in parliament are – 1) Essential Commodities (Amendment) Bill,2020. 2) Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill,2020. 3) Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020.
